Facebook slowdown lately- What is facebookupdate at startup?

Facebookupdate is lately install from Facebook Co to enable chat and video. You can disable from startup ( execute msconfig and unmark) and start only when need it., or leave it disable if don't use chat or video. Lately facebook slowdown problem is because update installed.(some phones are getting paralized since this update installed)
